Clayton Morrell is a visual artist and educator based in Bushwick, Brooklyn, whose work explores the rhythm, energy, and joy found in everyday life. Passionate about art, communication, and community, he believes creativity is a bridge that connects us.

His journey has woven together experiences teaching on a remote outer island in Okinawa, Japan, through the Ministry of Education’s JET Programme, and later circumnavigating the globe with Peace Boat, a Japan-based international NGO focused on peace, human rights, and sustainability. These experiences have deeply shaped his perspective as an artist and educator.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Japanese, Clayton is dedicated to the power of communication and the importance of community. He currently teaches middle school visual arts in Bushwick while remaining active in New York City’s creative community, participating in exhibitions, organizing events, and curating shows that foster dialogue, connection, and community.
